Twin Falls Idaho 5x7 Temple Sketch
Plans for the temple, inspired by nearby Shoshone Falls, were unveiled on October 6, 2005, at a press conference held in the former Candleridge Golf Course clubhouse. The stunning model on display showcased the white two-story temple, capped with a gold-leafed angel Moroni atop a spire rising 159 feet in the air. The completed temple is the. highest point in the area. The famous Shoshone Falls are located less than two miles east of the temple. Sometimes called the, Niagara of the West, these falls are subtly placed in the drawing among the trees to the right of the temple... President Howard W. Hunter has counseled us, saying, Let us truly be a temple-attending and temple-loving people. We should hasten to the temple as frequently, yet prudently, as our personal circumstances allow. . . . As we attend the temple, we learn more richly and deeply the purpose of life and the significance of the atoning sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ (Ensign, February 1995, p. 5). In the temple, members are taught more about the gospel of Jesus Christ and the purpose of life. To remind one of the importance of Christ's atonement in temple work, Chad has rendered a full length image of the Savior within this drawing.
This is a 5x7 print.
