More Than Just a CookbookI just got my book in the mail the other day and have been so excited to use it. I've been thumbing through the recipes and info and was pleasnantly surprised to see little areas for "goals" for using food storage. She really does want you to learn how to incorporate food storage into every day cooking. She gives info on nutrional values and on how to get your family involved and how to get started. She's obviously LDS, and talks about some of those beliefs pertaining to food storage and emergency prepardness in the getting started section. But it is because of those teachings that she was inspired to get her food storage together and learn how to use it, and I feel that she is just trying to share all the information she has discovered to better help everyone she can. I haven't used a ton of recipes yet (but I did just make a blueberry muffin using beans that is listed on her blog), so I can't give a rating as to the food. But as far as the info you need and making you feel like you can do it, I'd give it 5 stars. I only gave 4 total because the pictures are black and white, and I would've liked to have a spiral binding.
